"The Redeemers are Gabriel Kroeller (guitar / vocals / half-angel), Neil Haft (bass / were-beast), and Dexter Powell (drums / second or third greatest sorcerer of the age). They tour the country, rocking the faces off their fans while protecting them from demons, ninjas, sorcerers, and the occasional death-assassin robo-groupie. Why? Because they hope that by saving everyone else, they can finally save themselves."
Not enough to pump you up? Then check out the text-less pages of The Redeemers Issue #0 since it needs no words for you to see it's awesomeness.

What are they saying? What's on the missing page 5? Why does the band look like they just heard the worst news ever? You can only find out by grabbing a SIGNED copy of The Redeemers #0 at the Ronin Studio's booth at this years Chicago Comic Con ( here's them marked on the map for easy reference for you comic con goers [link] ). Grab a copy, meet the creators themselves and ask them the nitty-gritty on The Redeemers in person!! They're also offering a Comic Con exclusive Redeemers print for potential fans. Hey when these guys hit it big you're going to WANT to tell your friends "Yea, I got their first print at 2009 Comic Con BEFORE they were famous".
Can't make it to Chicago Comic Con this year to grab a copy of issue #0? FEAR NOT because the creators of The Redeemers are holding an art contest with The Redeemers Issue #0 as part of it Grand Prize. Lucky for you, the deadline for this awesome contest has been extended to August 6th (first day of Comic Con and where the judging will take place) so you have some time to get your entry in to collect this sure to be collector's item issue. Full detail on the contest and other prizes can be found here: [link] .
Of course this comic is going to need more then fanart to get it off the ground. What do I mean? The creators will be self-publishing the first 4 issues of the official run of The Redeemers and they're holding a fundraiser (hosted here [link]) to get them started. Of course you'll be getting something in return for your pledges: A membership to The Redeemer's Fanclub (which lets you check out the bands Tour Blog), an exclusive funder's only song by the band (real rocking audio), an autographed band "photo" signed by series artist Wil Brendel, inclusion in a crowd scene in an issue of the comic, and even a chance for YOU to appear BY NAME in an issue of the comic. The more you give the more you get and it goes toward getting this rock show on the road. More info on the fundraiser can be found at it's KickStarter page ( [link] ).
So for you all in the TL;DR crowd (shame on you) here's the above in brief about The Redeemers:
Want to help spread the word too? Feel free to copy and paste all this in your own journals and be part of The Redeemers volunteer street team by asking to hang one of these ( [link] ) in your local comic book store. We're all artists here and what better way to show support for the arts and awesome storytelling then being there to help a comic like this from the beginning and for years to come. Be a fan and be a friend.

However high your dreams go, someone has built a rocket to catch it.
In order to fully appreciate something, you must do it yourself.
